In my entrepreneurial journal this week I'll be writing about a few of the things I've learned but also about some aspirations that I have for this class. In watching some of the videos it helped me to want to move forward with my goals to be an entrepreneur. Guy Kawasaki, while teaching at Stanford had some great insight into focusing on what you have a passion in and sticking to it. Not chasing hot markets.
It was also good to hear President Hinckley speak and admonish us to stand up and be the generation we're expected to be. To study and become educated and to go on and do important things.
The founder of Linked-In and personal branding was exciting as it encouraged me to think about what I have to offer and what I can do to further my value to people. By doing this, I'm able to get access to more people and then have more customers.
Overall, I'm most excited about building a foundation to my entrepreneurial journey. By focusing my dream into a vision and then working it into goals, I'm looking to hone my ideas in to a great idea. I'm looking forward to the studies and experience I'll get to learn from as I make my way through this coarse.
